Happy New Year everyone! I hope you all had a merry holiday season and happy new year celebration. This year I am determined to set some high goals for myself and STICK TO THEM. One of those includes being more active on Instagram and posting a blog post weekly.
I thought the best way to start out the new year would be to talk about my favorite beauty products from last year.

- Too Faced Chocolate Soleil Matte Bronzer – $30 (my shade: chocolate)
- Mario Badescu Original Lip Balm – $8

- Thayer’s Cucumber Facial Toner – $10.99
- Redken Color Extend Blondage Shampoo & Conditioner – $39.99

- Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge – $4.89
- Caboodle Makeup Organizer – $19.99
- Victor & Rolf Bon Bon Perfume – $68
- Kristen Ess 1 1/4 Curling Iron – $50
These are my absolute favorite beauty products from this past year — I use all of these daily or every other day (your girl does not wash her hair or do her makeup everyday). Also, all prices were taken from either Ulta, Target, Beauty Brands and Sephora. The pricing could possibly be lower on some items depending on where you shop!
A few little tips I have when purchasing beauty products;
- ALWAYS check Marshalls and TJ Maxx first! (Especially for my fave orange makeup sponges, NEVER pay full price for these)
- Wait until the liter sale at Beauty Brands to purchase full size salon shampoos and conditioners ($15 is WAY better than $40!!)
- Try out the mini size first (if available) before committing to a full size product of something you haven’t tried before (I ALWAYS buy minis, almost all of my daily makeup products are mini)
- Use discount codes (especially when purchasing items from Tula, there’s always a code from an insta influencer that can be used)
- Join the free rewards programs (I mostly purchase beauty products from Ulta & their rewards program is VERY good compared to other retailers + there are exclusive coupons and codes that can be by rewards members used too!
